Welcome to REJENG BALI, a delightful Balinese restaurant nestled in the serene landscape of Central Batur, Kintamani, Bangli Regency. If you’re in search of an authentic culinary experience that embraces the essence of Bali, you’ve found your paradise.

At REJENG BALI, the menu showcases the rich flavors of traditional Balinese cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients. Imagine sinking your teeth into succulent grilled fish, caught fresh from the waters of Lake Batur, bursting with the vibrant tastes of local spices and herbs. Many guests rave about the fried fish served with a zesty chili dip and perfectly steamed white rice, a dish that exemplifies the restaurant's dedication to freshness and flavor.

The dining atmosphere at REJENG BALI is both cozy and tranquil, inviting you to relax and soak in the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Diners often describe the space as a hidden gem, where the local charm shines through. As you savor your meal, you might find yourself entertained by the friendly resident cats that roam the premises, adding an element of warmth and homeliness to your dining experience.

What truly sets REJENG BALI apart is the personalized service and the stories behind each dish. Owner JB, a local fisherman, is known for not just serving unforgettable meals but also for arranging remarkable fishing trips on Lake Batur itself. Guests like elena eremina have crafted memories beyond just the delicious food—exploring temples and local spots with JB’s guidance enhances the charm of your visit. There’s a sense of community here, making it a fantastic place to connect with both locals and fellow travelers.

While the ambiance may be rustic and not laden with the trappings of a five-star restaurant, it is precisely this authenticity that many guests embrace. According to Jei Kah, it’s a wonderful escape into local culture and a truly relaxing spot after a dip in the nearby hot springs. And while wait times may be longer occasionally due to weather conditions—like strong winds affecting grilling—many find the experience more than worth it, highlighting the commitment to quality over speed.

Whether you’re here for a leisurely lunch, a cozy dinner, or an unforgettable fishing adventure, REJENG BALI promises delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a must-visit if you’re looking to experience the heart and soul of Balinese culture while relishing some of the freshest fish you'll ever taste. A very nice place. Very high-quality, fresh, and delicious food. We came for a meal and had a great time. The owner's name is JB. He's a fisherman. He arranged an unforgettable fishing trip for us on Lake Batur. We visited the temple with skulls, but I won't go into details; ask him. I recommend it to everyone. It's cozy, quiet, and delicious.

Great view of the lake. Can be a little chilly when the weather is bad. Fish was awesome, tasty and very fresh. We waited a bit long - around an hour - but then they explained it's because of the strong wind and the grill. That's true, the wind was insane. I'd recommend eating here if you are not in a hurry, the food was great. The restroom is very basic, it would be better to at least add hand soap.

After a few hours in the hot springs, we were looking forward to some fresh fried fish and this place did not disappoint! Nice cold beer to start and then delicious fried fish with chilli and white rice. Such a delightful find and all thanks to our driver from Kintamani.

This place is a hidden gem’. We found it from a locals recommendation from our accommodation nearby Batur hot springs. The place looks so local with a super great view of the lake and mountains whilst eating is just enough relaxation to do. Discovering this place is not for someone expecting a 5star restaurant dining style rather embrace the locals effort with their Authentic food . The spring rolls are the best entrees we ever had . Plus the chicken menus are superb delicious with veggies on the sides. This is definitely a must visit place if you’re looking forward to try local food and place to refine then refresh with a nature view when you go Mount Batur visit. Definitely recommend. I haven’t tried their seafood though.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere and surroundings with stunning view over the sea. Our food was great and we really enjoyed being alone at this place. The two boys who served and cooked our food have been super kind

The staff were very friendly, as is often the case in Bali. The meal was simple but very good: small fresh grilled fish with an excellent little tomato sauce and my partner, grilled fish with the local sauce. We had a wonderful time and the setting and view are magnificent. What's more, we were all alone, so it was incredible. And the prices, very reasonable. If you're staying in the area, don't hesitate to eat fresh fish there for lunch!
